Emergency Dental Treatment
Our doctors are always available for emergency dental treatment. If it is a true dental emergency and they are out of the office, they can be reached by cell phone.
Digital Dental Radiographs
Small amounts of radiation are used to make pictures of teeth (radiographs). These black and white images show various shades of grey because some portions of teeth or dental restorations let more or less of the radiation pass through. The result is a radiograph that shows to a moderate level the presence of dental decay and periodontal disease (gum disease).
Fluoride as Preventive Therapy
As a group, dentists and physicians, as well as global health organizations favor use of fluoride.
Invisalign®
We treat teenagers and adults with Invisalign® clear aligners. Proper alignment of teeth allows for better function and makes it easier for patients to clean their teeth. Straight teeth are esthetic, but we always stress proper function to maintain teeth for a lifetime!
CEREC One-Day Restorations
CEREC by Sirona is a technology that allows us to make crowns and other dental restorations in our office in one day. For the patient, this means fewer injections, less drilling, and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care.
Cracked Tooth Syndrome
Teeth may crack when subjected to the stress of chewing hard foods, ice, or hard objects. Teeth with or without restorations (fillings) may exhibit this problem, but teeth restored with typical silver alloy or tooth-colored restorations are most susceptible.
Whitening & Bleaching
We evaluate each patient and recommend the best treatment plan for whitening depending on their teeth. We typically use Kor Whitening or Opalescence. We offer in-office and/or at-home whitening.
Cosmetic Dentistry
We use dental bonding and porcelain to enhance smiles. We do a comprehensive evaluation and discuss options.
Tooth Sealants
Sealants have been developed to seal the deep grooves of the chewing (occlusal) surfaces of teeth. Sealants help prevent decay in these higher risk areas. They are placed once the permanent molars erupt completely.
Dental Fillings
The doctors use white composite fillings to restore teeth that have decayed or broken as long as there is enough tooth structure available.
Implants
Dental implants are the most natural way of replacing a missing tooth or teeth. Implants are made from titanium alloy and resemble the root of a tooth. These posts are placed into the jawbone and allowed to heal to the bone. After the healing period, a crown or bridge is fabricated to replace the missing teeth.
